About Caroline
Hello, my name is Caroline Monet.
This story is about the creation of Caroline’s Cream and now my new product Caroline’s All-Purpose Wash.
In the mid 1990's I entered the world of natural therapies and rediscovered my childhood passion for Aroma Therapy. At this time I lived in the southwest of Western Australia, the perfect place to practice therapeutic massage and Reiki. It was also a perfect setting for experimenting with my oils and I began creating all sorts of wonderful healing potions.
After about six months of massaging fulltime I started to develop very dry skin on my hands.
Not having found a moisturizer on the market that soothed or hydrated my skin sufficiently I felt that perhaps it was time to go back to basics and I set about making my own natural and concentrated cream.
Using a selection of age old remedies for dry skin in my formula, I included herbs and oils such as; Golden Seal, Calendula, Vitamin E, Jojoba and Borage Seed oil. As the cream was origanally for myself and not for the public arena, I wasn't ruled or governed by costs of raw materials and packaging. Consequently I ended up using a combination of 20 ingredients. One of the reasons for the efficacy of 'Caroline's Cream' is the high concentration of oils and herbs and, to this day the formula remains unchanged.
Having seen a remarkable improvement in the condition of my own skin I offered it to friends and relatives to try. It was then it became evident that my cream was not just an ordinary moisturizer - It was also helping to relieve the symptoms of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis. My cream made such a significant difference I felt it was my responsibilty to make my cream available to the public. This cream was clearly a gift I should share. So..........in 2003 'Caroline's Skincare' was born.
I called my moisturiser 'Caroline’s Cream' because in the early days there was a little girl using it who would wake up in the night itchy and ask her Mummy for 'Caroline’s Cream'. Children were comfortable with the name and, after all, it was my cream.
One day a little boy gave me 'five' and said; 'You make great cream Caroline!'
Another woman who used Caroline's Cream for a rash on her torso, relayed a message to me that upon applying the cream she felt like she had been touched by an Angel.
One of the most heart renching stories is about a woman who had been a virtual recluse for 7 years because of a condition she had on her face, after using Caroline’s Cream for a few days her skin had improved by three quarters. The lady sent me an email to tell me that she could now smile again without her face hurting. I shed a tear for all her years of suffering and a few more tears for her relief.
I receive emails, letters and phone calls every day from people who have found my cream beneficial. I am both humbled and proud to be able to offer the public a quality product that has such a positve impact on their lives.
In 2006 I went on to develop 'Caroline’s All-Purpose Wash' (a multi tasking natural soap based product and the only one of its kind on the market). This very unique product has been embraced by customers and retail outlets with the same enthusiasm as 'Caroline's Cream'.
'Caroline's Cream' was listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods in 2007. This meant my cream was more widely accessible and I was thrilled that more people would now have access to my cream.
'Caroline's Cream' is recommended by Doctors, Skin specialists, Naturopaths, Health Care Professionals and Podiatrists throughout Australia as an adjunct in the treatment of conditions such as; eczema, dermatitis and psorisis.
Nearly six years on my products are available in Pharmacies, Health food outlets, Hair Dressing Salons, Podiatry and Naturopathic clinics throughout Australia and can also be purchased on line via my website.
As for myself, I am a new woman (with fabulous skin) and one with a passion and a purpose. I feel privileged and blessed to have the opportunity to make a difference in so many people’s lives.
